A Cultural Experience Unlike Any Other

What better way for your students to learn the English language and gain an understanding of the culture than by experiencing it first hand? The Great Smoky Mountain Adventure is a unique educational program that brings together the spirit of America's southern mountain range with first-rate language instruction. This is an exceptional opportunity for ESL (English as a second language) students from all over the world, ages 12 to 17, to discover one of America's most intriguing regions.

Home to a World of Excitement

Students will find themselves living in cozy quarters on a 65-acre retreat nestled in the magnificent mountain ranges of East Tennessee. They'll be surrounded by impressive scenery, fresh country air and a lake that is fed by clear underground springs. They'll also be involved in a complete range of exciting activities and learning experiences.

Just 15 minutes away is Knoxville with the University of Tennessee, world class shopping centers, theaters, concert halls, museums and all the other great things you'd expect from a major city. Also nearby, experience the quaint mountain village of Gatlinburg and the many attractions of Pigeon Forge.

What's more, students who love the great outdoors can choose from a variety of activities and excursions to local natural wonders.

Specially Designed Programs for Your Students

We work with you to ensure your students get the most out of their Great Smoky Mountain Adventure. Simply choose from the list of activities those which best suit the interests of your students. Then we'll design a special package just for your group.

You can choose from 2-, 3- or 4-week packages during the months of April through October for anywhere from 15 to 30 students.

The price per package per student is:

• 2 weeks: $1050
• 3 weeks: $1500
• 4 weeks: $1800

(prices do not include additional package components such as amusement parks or other public attractions).

Each package includes:

• Transportation to and from airport
• Room and board (double and single rooms)
• Separate apartment for 1 or 2 teachers/chaperones
• Transportation to and from all activities and excursions
• ESL instruction classes

Deposit and Cancellation Policies

We require a 20% deposit to hold a reservation. Deposit is fully refundable if the cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to arrival date. If cancellation is made after the 30 day restriction, the deposit will be forfeit.
